Coffee is taken seriously in General Luna, and a lot of the cafés open early for the dawn surf. Mondayyy's, near Cloud 9, opens at 5am. Sunset Coffee Roasters roasts Filipino beans on site and sells them by the bag, and Saint Thomas Coffee is set back in a patch of jungle on the old Tourism Road, with sofas on the roof for when the afternoon heat drops. For bread, Shanti Shanty bakes sourdough every morning on the Dapa road and often sells out, and Lunares does croissants and focaccia.
