In 2022, while living in Siargao, we saw how hard travel could be. For visitors trying to find reliable experiences, and for the local businesses trying to manage bookings, talk to guests and run their day to day.
Many operators were running everything through spreadsheets, social media messages, and manual workarounds. Travelers, meanwhile, struggled to find trusted, well organized options that reflected what the island actually offered. We thought it could work better.
Koobo was built to close that gap. We connect travelers with real local experiences while giving hosts and operators the tools they need to run and grow their business.
Today, Koobo is more than a booking platform. It is a local-first travel platform that helps Philippine tourism operators manage listings, bookings, messaging, payouts, and performance insights in one place. Our goal is simple: stronger local businesses through better technology.
