The Beachbaby Cafe is a small health-food cafe on Tourism Road in General Luna. It's easy to walk past: a white shopfront with a few tables outside, and an air-conditioned room inside where shelves hold bottled kombucha, skincare, jewellery and mugs. You order at the till.
Smoothie bowls are the reason most people come, and the list is long: Mango Nana, açaí super bowl, cacao berry and matcha tropical, with a kefir option for extra protein. Breakfast runs all day, from classic, vegan and cacao pancakes to cheese and pesto or Mediterranean omelets, slow-cooked oats and a deconstructed apple crumble. At lunch, look for the jackfruit adobo bowl, kimchi fried rice and grilled pesto sandwiches on ciabatta. There's no espresso machine: coffee is French press or iced, and the stronger drinks list is matcha, hojicha, chai, water kefir and cold-pressed juices.
It's open 8am to 9pm, closed on Wednesdays. On the menu, pancakes run ₱200 to ₱280 and omelets and grilled sandwiches about ₱250, with French press coffee at ₱100. Recent reviews say it's cash only, and food can be slow when the room fills. Start with an Oh My Wow shot, a ₱80 turmeric, ginger and citrus booster, while you wait for your bowl.
