Halika is a small gelato shop on San Sebastian Street in General Luna town, right on the main road, so it is easy to swing by on a scooter. It makes its gelato in-house and runs a long counter of flavours mixing Filipino ingredients with classics, plus coffee and juices. Seating is limited, and most people take a cup or cone and keep moving.
The flavour regulars swear by is salted caramel Oreo, followed closely by ube cheese. Others worth a scoop: the Siargao flavour (lemon and butterfly pea, sweet and sour), mango sorbet, mango graham, ube macapuno, champorado, choco almond and stracciatella. The house waffle cone gets its own fan club, so ask for it rather than a cup. Reviewers describe the gelato as creamy and not too sweet.
It is open daily from 9am to 11pm. In 2026 one scoop costs about ₱150, two ₱200 and three ₱250. Evenings around 7pm bring queues and big groups, so come mid-afternoon after the beach if you want a calm look at the full flavour board.
