Meze Grill Siargao is a small kebab house on Tourism Road in Poblacion, at the town end of the General Luna strip. It only opens in the evening, and the room is compact: orange walls, hanging plants and a handful of tables, so it fills quickly once dinner starts.
The order to know is the Meze Tray. You pick three skewers from chicken, beef, pork, baby squid, tuna or tofu with eggplant, then two sauces from garlic aioli, olive chermoula, kebab butter and a tajine date sauce, plus flatbread or basmati rice. It arrives with ezme, grilled corn and fennel-pickled vegetables. One regular swears by a chicken and two pork skewers, and the pita and sauces get as much praise as the meat. Wraps, hummus with flatbread, fries and a cucumber lemonade round out a short menu.
It's open daily from 5pm to 11pm, and the Meze Tray is ₱398 on the menu, with most people spending ₱500 to ₱1,000 a head. Delivery is available. One reviewer suggests booking for around 6pm, and that's good advice for another reason too: on busy nights the beef, fish and squid can sell out by 8:30pm, so come early if you have your heart set on them.
