Abukay Beach House Siargao

Abukay is a beachfront seafood restaurant on Tourism Road in General Luna, set up as a beach house with tables right by the water. The draw is fresh seafood: mud crab, calamari, adobong pusit, tuna kinilaw, and mantis shrimp, cooked to order. The chili garlic sauce is the one regulars come back for, and it's worth asking for it with the crab.

It's an outdoor, laid-back setting, better for a relaxed dinner with the sea in front of you than a quick meal. Prices sit at the higher end for the island, so it's more of a treat than an everyday stop, and portions are built for sharing.
