Larena Triad sits on a hilltop just above Larena town on Siquijor's north coast, signposted off the main road and reached by a steep, winding drive. The terrace and gardens look out over the sea towards Negros, with the island's green hills behind, so it doubles as a viewpoint, a coffee stop and a Filipino restaurant with a small bakeshop.
Coffee is the safe order: brewed coffee and lattes get steady praise. The menu leans Filipino, with chop suey, grilled pork, veggie kare-kare and rice-and-ulam plates, plus burgers and a cheesy mango quesadilla for something lighter. For dessert, the halo-halo and cheesecake are the repeat mentions, and the bakeshop's tarts are good to take away. Portions are generous and prices sit below what you pay in San Juan.
Expect to spend under ₱500 a head. Service is the weak spot: many reviewers waited 15 minutes or more before anyone took their order, even on quiet afternoons, so flag down a server when you sit. Ride up slowly on a scooter, as the bends are tight. Come for a late-afternoon coffee and stay through sunset, when the breeze picks up and the light is at its best.
