Wax Surf is a small beachfront cafe with a few rooms in Barangay Bobon, south of Dahican and roughly 20 minutes from the city centre. It sits off the main road with no roadside sign, so follow Google Maps, and expect a quiet spot with sea views and, on clear days, the mountains behind.
It runs on brunch. Reviewers mention eggs and toast, crepes, kimchi fried rice, sandwiches and a fried chicken plate, plus house coffee and matcha. Avocado dishes and shakshouka depend on the season and supply, and a few items can be out after busy weekends. Portions are generous, though some find prices high for the area and service can be slow, so order everything at once and confirm it with the staff.
Its own page lists 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Tuesday to Sunday, and Google puts spending at ₱500 to ₱1,000 a head. It is cash only, with no GCash. Tricycles rarely pass this way, so hire a car or a driver who will wait. Message ahead before you go, as visitors have reported a reservation first policy.
