Monsoon Café is the small city-centre outpost of Monsoon, the backpackers inn and café out in Barangay Dahican. You will find it in Unit 5 of the Sunlite Commercial Building on Mabini Street, Barangay Central, a few minutes' walk up from the Baywalk, and it is a handy stop for coffee between errands in town.
It is a compact, clean coffee counter with plain white walls and a relaxed pace. Reviewers rate the iced coffee and the creme brulee cake highly, and a 2026 visitor noted the staff will make things less sweet if you ask, which helps in a town where cafés lean sugary. Free Starlink WiFi makes it one of the easier places in the centre to sit with a laptop for an hour.
Most orders come in under ₱500 per person. Opening hours are not posted consistently online, so check the Monsoon Mati Facebook or Instagram pages before you go. Order an iced coffee with a slice of the creme brulee cake, and if you are heading out to Dahican later, ask about the main Monsoon property on the beach road.
