La-ne's is a large family restaurant on Bonifacio Street, a couple of blocks back from Mati City Baywalk Park, and it doubles as La-ne's Hotel. The main building is an old house turned dining room, with an air-conditioned interior, an upper floor and a big outdoor dining area, plus a pool and a café on the property. The same family runs a beach branch and a coffeehouse out in Dahican.
The menu is long and Filipino at heart. Sizzling mixed seafood, garlic chicken, bulad (dried fish) rice, kinilaw, calamares and pork barbecue are the plates diners name most, with halo-halo or a chocolate parfait to finish. Servings are generous and made for sharing, which is why families and office groups fill the long tables. Recent reviews are mixed on consistency, with a few complaints about the kare-kare and some soups.
Open daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Bulad rice was ₱175 in mid-2025 and a vegetable curry about ₱200, so a shared meal lands around ₱500 to ₱1,000 per person. Waits of 45 minutes or more are common at lunch and on weekend nights, and there is plenty of parking. Arrive before noon or before 6:00 PM, and order everything at once so the table eats together.
