Cafe Dahican is the beachfront cafe of Coral Casitas in Purok Maonao, toward the quieter end of Dahican Beach. The last stretch is a rough dirt road that can flood after heavy rain, so expect a bumpy few minutes before you reach the patio tables set out under the trees by the sea.
Pizza is the reason most people come. The spinach and mushroom and the four cheese with a honey garlic dip get the most mentions, and the truffle bacon version has fans too. Smoothie bowls, the Big Barrel Breakfast, Pasta Longga (bolognese made with longganisa, about ₱300 and enough for two) and the coffee, including matcha lattes made with ceremonial grade matcha, round it out. You order at the counter and collect your own food.
It opens 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Monday and Thursday and 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Friday to Sunday, and it is closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Most people spend under ₱500. Weekends get crowded and pizzas can take a long time, so come for an early weekday brunch and put the pizza order in first.
