BowlGOGI is an unlimited Korean barbecue spot on the edge of Mati's city centre, a short drive from the Baywalk, listed on Google Maps under the plus code X644+7HF. Seating is open-air under a high roof, with gas grills set into the tables, K-pop on the speakers and a self-service station inside where you load up on meat and side dishes after the first serving comes to your table.
The base set covers unlimited pork belly, marinated pork, chicken and shrimp, with rice, lettuce, kimchi and a rotating line of banchan refilled as often as you like, plus cheese for the grill and free-flowing drinks. Angus beef, scallops, crab sticks and enoki come as add-ons or in the pricier tiers. Beer is available, and reviewers single out the side dishes and the friendly crew.
It runs daily from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM, and sets fall between ₱299 and ₱700 a head depending on the tier. There is no air-conditioned area and Mati evenings are warm, so dress light. It fills up with groups, so arrive close to opening and grab a table near the food station.
