Bawud is an open-air restaurant right on the Dahican shoreline, along the road toward Lawigan and a short walk from La-ne's Kalapyahan, about 15 minutes from the city proper. Tables sit under a high roof among coconut trees with the sand a few steps away, and the woven lights make dinner the better time to come.
The menu is long and built for sharing. Shrimp in aligue sauce (₱420 in March 2026) is the dish reviewers rate highest, with the creamy salted egg shrimp close behind. Chicharon bulaklak, calamari and kare-kare also get good mentions, and most mains feed two or three. For dessert, the chocolate cake and carrot cake are the safe calls, and the butter beer and sangria are popular, though the sangria is strong.
Google lists 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM Monday to Thursday and until 12:30 AM Friday to Sunday, and spending runs ₱500 to ₱1,000 a head. Service can be slow on busy nights and the kitchen is uneven, so stick to the seafood. Arrive before sunset, take a table on the open side and order the aligue shrimp with extra rice.
