Kermit's La Union branch sits inside The Great Northwest Travel Stop on MacArthur Highway in Urbiztondo, the same complex as El Union and Sabong, with a veranda that looks out to the beach. It's the surf-town sibling of the Siargao Italian restaurant of the same name, and it turns into a pizza-and-cocktails hangout as the sun goes down.
Pizza is the main event, on thin crusts with spicy honey to drizzle: the Kermit Pizza, a premium margherita, the burrata pizza and a longganisa pizza for a local twist. For pasta, people order the linguine alla tartufa, black ink pasta, aglio olio and lasagna, plus the burrata caprese salad. Cocktails and sangria carafes keep the tables going, and some nights a DJ plays. You order at the counter, and a service charge still applies.
Google lists it open 11AM to 10PM Monday to Wednesday and 10AM to 11PM Thursday to Sunday, and most people spend ₱500 to ₱1,000 each. It's cash only, with no GCash, so bring enough. Tables fill fast at sunset, so arrive before 5PM if you want a seat on the veranda.
