Clean Beach is a beachfront café at 134 MacArthur Highway in Urbiztondo, a few steps from Flotsam & Jetsam, with tables and beanbags spread right onto the sand. It was set up around one simple idea, keeping the surf beach clean, and it has been a slow-morning and sunset hangout for years.
The kaya toast is the order: buttered toast with house-made kaya, dipped into a soft-boiled egg with dashi soy. After that, people go for the ube pancakes, loco moco, bagnet-silog and the Aloha burger with pineapple, plus specialty drinks like the birthday cake latte and Philippine single-origin coffee. You queue and order at the counter, then find a spot facing the water. Food can take a long time when it's busy, so get your coffee first.
Google lists it open from 7AM daily, until 9PM Monday to Thursday and 11PM Friday to Sunday. The kaya toast was ₱220 in 2025, and a meal with coffee usually comes to ₱500 or more each. Evenings bring cocktails and music. Come early for a quiet breakfast, or around 5PM to claim a beanbag for sunset.
