BeachBum Food Park is an open-air food court on Urbiztondo Road in San Juan, a short walk up from the beach and right among the surf hostels and Airbnbs of the main strip. Independent stalls ring a central bar and a small stage, with shared tables in the middle, which makes it an easy dinner for a group that can't agree on one cuisine.
Walk the whole park before you order. Seafood is the main draw: reviewers come back for the seafood salu-salo platters, the cheesy baked oysters from the Big Servings stall and the bangus sisig from the seafood trailer beside the bar. Other stalls turn out nachos and quesadillas, sizzling beef pepper rice, Korean rice bowls and Filipino group sets with dinakdakan and Bicol express. The bar pours beer and frozen margaritas, and there's live music on some nights, though it stays quieter than the big beach bars.
The park opens at 2PM daily and runs until 11PM Monday to Thursday, midnight on Friday and Sunday, and 1AM on Saturday. Most diners spend ₱200 to ₱400 a head, more for shared seafood platters. Each stall takes its own payment and credit cards aren't accepted, so bring cash. Not every stall opens every night, so arrive by 6PM for the full choice.
