We pay hosts in weekly batches. Each batch is released on Saturday and covers every booking that is both completed and fully settled to Koobo by the cutoff — Friday at 11:59 PM (Philippine time). If a booking misses the Friday cutoff, its payout moves to the next Saturday batch.
Before a payout is released, two things must happen by the Friday cutoff:
- The booking is complete — the guest has checked out, the rental has been returned, or the activity has finished.
- The guest’s payment has settled to Koobo. Settlement times depend on the payment method: GCash usually takes about 2 business days, and cards about 5 business days, after the guest pays (excluding weekends and Philippine holidays).
Example: if a guest pays by card on Monday and the booking is completed on Thursday, the card funds settle the following Monday — after that week’s Friday cutoff — so the payout goes out the following Saturday. A GCash payment usually settles in time for the next Saturday.
