How long does listing approval take?

Last updated: September 18, 2026

Every listing is reviewed before it goes live. Most are approved within a few working days.

What we check

  • The listing is complete and the description matches the photographs
  • Required documents are in place, including your business permit
  • Pricing, availability and the cancellation policy are set
  • Nothing breaches our terms

What slows it down

Nearly every delay comes from one of these:

  • Missing or unreadable documents. Blurred photographs of permits are the most common.
  • A name mismatch between your ID, your permit and your bank details.
  • An incomplete listing, most often missing photographs or no availability set.
  • A description that does not match the photographs, or claims we cannot verify.
  • An expired permit.

How to get through quickly

Submit everything at once, with documents as clear, legible files, names matching across all of them, at least five good photographs and your availability set for the coming months.

While you wait

Nothing to do. We will contact you if anything is needed.

If we come back with a question, replying quickly is what matters. Most listings that take a long time are waiting on the host rather than on us.

After approval

Your listing goes live and becomes bookable. Make sure your calendar is accurate before that happens, because the first booking can arrive quickly.

Edits after approval are generally live straight away, though significant changes may be reviewed again.

If your listing is not approved

We will tell you why. Usually it is fixable: a missing document, a permit that needs renewing, or a description that needs adjusting. Listings that cannot demonstrate the legal right to operate cannot go live.
