How do I set up payout details?

Last updated: September 18, 2026

Koobo pays hosts by bank transfer in Philippine Pesos. Two things need to be in place before any money can be released to you.

1. Bank account details

Add your bank details in your host dashboard. The account must be held in your own name or your business's name, and you must be authorised to use it. Koobo cannot pay into a third party's account.

Check the account number and bank carefully before saving. Incorrect or out-of-date details are the most common cause of delayed or failed payouts, and Koobo is not able to recover funds that were sent to details you supplied.

2. A valid business permit

Hosts must upload a business permit in order to receive payouts. This is a requirement of listing on Koobo, not an optional extra, and it is part of how the marketplace stays legitimate for guests and for other hosts.

You are responsible for holding whatever permits, licences or registrations your particular service requires under Philippine law and local regulation. If your listing needs something beyond a general business permit, for example a tourism accreditation or a vehicle rental registration, that is your responsibility to obtain and maintain.

Keeping details current

If you change bank, close an account, or your permit is renewed, update your dashboard straight away. A payout attempted against stale details will fail and has to be reissued.

Currency

All payouts are made in Philippine Pesos. If your account is held in another currency, your bank will convert the amount and may charge a conversion fee. That fee is set by your bank, not by Koobo.
