You can change almost anything about a listing after it goes live. Open it in your host dashboard and edit the field you need.
What you can change freely
- Description and title
- Photographs
- Pricing
- Availability
- House rules and requirements
- Cancellation policy
Most edits take effect immediately. Significant changes, particularly to what the listing fundamentally is, may be reviewed again before going live.
What edits do not affect
Confirmed bookings. A guest who has already booked keeps the price they paid and the cancellation policy that was shown to them. Editing a live listing never reaches back into reservations that already exist.
This cuts both ways: you cannot raise the price on a booking already taken, and a guest cannot benefit from a discount you apply afterwards.
When to edit
- After any change to the property or vehicle. New furniture, a repaint, a replaced scooter. Photographs that no longer match reality generate complaints.
- Seasonally. Pricing and cancellation policy both make sense to revisit between peak and quiet months.
- When the same question keeps coming. If guests repeatedly ask something, the listing is not answering it.
- After a review mentions a surprise. A guest surprised by something is usually a listing that did not mention it.
Keep availability separate in your mind
Editing the listing and managing the calendar are different jobs. The calendar is the one that needs attention weekly; the description can sit for months.
If you take bookings elsewhere
Block those dates on Koobo the same day. Double bookings lead to host cancellations, and those carry real consequences including review markers and account suspension.
Getting help
If something will not save, or you want a second opinion on whether a listing is working, email [email protected]. If a listing is getting views but no bookings, the answer is nearly always the photographs.
