How do I create a listing?

Last updated: September 18, 2026

Creating a listing is straightforward once you have your documents and photographs ready.

Before you start

Have these to hand: your photographs, your pricing, the dates you are available, and your permit and ID for verification.

Building it

  1. Choose the type: property, activity or rental.
  2. Add the basics: name, location, and what a guest is booking.
  3. Write the description. What it is, who it suits, and what is included.
  4. Upload photographs. More is better, and the first one matters most.
  5. Set your price, with your own tax obligations built in.
  6. Set availability for the months ahead.
  7. Add rules and requirements: check-in times, what a guest must bring or show, anything you need them to know.
  8. Choose a cancellation policy.
  9. Submit for approval.

Getting the description right

Be specific rather than promotional. A guest deciding between two listings wants to know what is actually there, how far it is from what they came for, and what the catch is.

Listings that oversell are the main source of disputes and refunds. A guest who gets exactly what they expected leaves a good review. One who was promised more does not, even if the place was fine.

What the listing must include

Everything mandatory a guest will pay. You cannot ask for undisclosed extra amounts on arrival. Optional add-ons, disclosed security deposits and government-mandated fees are the only things that can be handled on the day, and they should be stated in the listing.

Approval

Listings are reviewed before going live. We check for completeness, accuracy and that the required documents are in place.

After it is live

You can edit anything at any time. Keep availability and pricing current, especially in peak season, and a listing that sits unbooked usually needs better photographs before it needs a lower price.
