Keep your Koobo property calendars in sync with Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, and other channels through Hospitable.
What this does
Once connected:
- Bookings and blocks from Hospitable show on your Koobo calendar
- Bookings and blocks from Koobo block those dates in Hospitable
That helps you avoid double bookings across channels.
Before you start
- Have a Hospitable account on a paid plan that supports the API (Host, Professional, or Mogul — not Essentials)
- Connect your OTA listings inside Hospitable
- Make sure your Hospitable property names match your Koobo unit names as closely as possible (this helps auto-linking)
How to connect
- On Koobo, go to Host account → Settings → Hospitable
- Click Connect with Hospitable
- Sign in to Hospitable and allow Koobo to connect
- You’ll return to Koobo. Matching properties are linked automatically
- Check the Linked units list to confirm everything looks right
If some properties didn’t link, click Auto-link properties. If names still don’t match, rename them in Hospitable or Koobo so they match, then try again.
For Auto-link, Koobo tries two ways:
- Exact match — names match after normalizing (case/punctuation ignored)
- Fuzzy match — one name contains the other (e.g. “Beach House” vs “Beach House Studio”)
If neither works, it shows up as unmatched. Sync only runs for linked units.
Keep calendars in sync
- Click Run sync anytime you want an immediate update
- Koobo also syncs in the background after you’re connected
Tip: After your first connect, run sync once and check both calendars.
Disconnect
On the same page, click Disconnect to remove the Hospitable connection.
Common questions
Why didn’t my property link?
Names usually don’t match. Align the Hospitable property name with the Koobo unit name, then click Auto-link properties.
Can I edit a Hospitable block on Koobo?
No. Change it in Hospitable, then sync again. Same idea for Koobo bookings that were pushed to Hospitable — edit them where they were created.
Do I still need iCal?
If a unit is fully linked through Hospitable, you usually don’t need a separate iCal sync for that unit.
Who is this for?
Hosts who already use Hospitable as their channel manager and want Koobo direct bookings kept in sync.
Do you have contact email for Host concerns?
Yes, you can contact our Host support at [email protected]
