No. Once a booking is confirmed, the price is fixed at what the guest paid. Changing your listing price afterwards does not change that booking, and you cannot ask the guest for more.
Why it works this way
Confirmation creates a binding agreement between you and the guest at the agreed price. The guest has already paid in full and Koobo holds the money. Retro-pricing a paid booking would undermine the confidence that makes upfront payment work.
What you can change
Update your listing price whenever you like. The new price applies to bookings made after the change. Nothing about a rate change reaches back into reservations that already exist.
If you priced something wrongly
If you have made a genuine error, for example listing a ₱4,000 night at ₱400 through a typo, contact [email protected] rather than cancelling. Koobo can cancel a booking made on an obviously incorrect price and refund the guest, consistent with how manifest pricing errors are handled generally. Cancelling it yourself counts as a host cancellation and carries the associated consequences.
If the guest wants to change the booking
Date changes, guest numbers, or swapping a participant on an activity are a different matter. The guest should message you to request it. If you both agree, the change is handled through the platform, sometimes by cancelling the original booking with a full refund and creating a new one at the current price.
Both sides have to agree. Until a change is confirmed, the original booking stands exactly as it was.
Optional extras
Genuinely optional add-ons that a guest chooses after booking, such as an airport transfer or equipment hire, can be arranged separately. These must be optional and clearly explained, never a mandatory top-up on the price they already paid.
