Siargao is good year-round, but the season shapes the trip. It really comes down to whether you want surf or calm water.
The drier months run roughly March to November. Surf builds from late August and peaks September to November, which is also the busiest and priciest time, especially around the Cloud 9 surf contest in late September.
December to February is quieter and cheaper, with more rain and smaller waves. If you want calm seas and clear lagoons, aim for the March to June window.
Our month-by-month guide breaks down the weather, surf, and crowds so you can pick your window.
