The steps
- Search for a stay, activity or rental, and filter by your dates, location and budget.
- Open the listing and read the description, what is included, the house rules and the cancellation policy.
- Choose your dates and the number of guests.
- Check the price breakdown at checkout, including any discount applied.
- Pay in full by card or e-wallet.
- You are confirmed immediately.
Every booking confirms instantly
There is no waiting for a host to approve anything. If a listing shows your dates as available and your payment goes through, the booking is confirmed there and then. You can book flights around it straight away.
If the dates you want are not available, they are already taken. The calendar reflects real availability rather than a request queue.
What happens after confirmation
You receive a confirmation by email and in your Koobo account, and a binding agreement exists between you and the host for that booking. You may be given a booking reference or voucher to present at check-in or at an activity meeting point.
Message your host through Koobo for arrival details. Keeping that conversation on the platform is what lets us help if anything goes wrong.
Before you pay, check
- The cancellation policy. It is set by the host and applied strictly. Because booking is instant, this is the only thing standing between you and a commitment.
- The location. Being in Pacifico rather than General Luna is an hour and a half of difference.
- What is included, especially on activities and rentals.
Read the reviews
Reviews come from guests who actually completed a booking. On a small island with a lot of new operators, they are the most reliable signal you have.
